Från början var det tänkt att Ridley Scotts Prometheus bara skulle bli en uppföljare till hans ikoniska Alien-film. Men sedan historien tog en lite annan vändning kan det nu bli hela tre eller fyra.

I en intervju med en tysk webbsajt som Bloody Disgusting plockat upp säger Scott att Prometheus kommer att bindas ihop med Alien, men inte i nästa Prometheus-film som ska börjas spelas in i februari nästa år.

“It won’t be in the next one. It will be in the one after this one or maybe even a fourth film before we get back into the Alien franchise…

“The whole point of it is to explain the Alien franchise and to explain the how and why of the creation of the Alien itself. I always thought of the Alien as kind of a piece of bacterial warfare. I always thought that that original ship, which I call the Croissant, was a battleship, holding these biomechanoid creatures that were all about destruction.”

Scott utvecklade nyligen sina religiösa tankar kring Prometheus 2 där han sökte efter de så kallade ingenjörernas ursprung. Vad vi åtminstone vet är att han drar igång i februari och att både Noomi Rapace och Michael Fassbinder kommer att reprisera sina roller.
