Shane Black skrev ett filmmanus till den japanska mangaserien Death Note och var på gång att även ta hand om regiarbetet. Men nu är han helt uppslukad av den nya Predator-filmen och enligt ett rykte så är Gus Van Sant på gång för jobbet.

According to sajten The Tracking Board som flera medier citerar så ska Gus Van Sant (Good Will Hunting, Drugstore Cowboy) regissera filmen för Warner Bros. Vertigo Entertainment, Witten Pictures och Lin Pictures ska producera. Men uppgifterna är än så länge inte bekräftade så det är bäst att inte jubla för högt. Men ett spännande rykte är det onekligen.
